Ammunition confiscated from foreigner in Kyrgyzstan

A foreign citizen, who professes a religious extremist ideology and stores ammunition, has been detained in Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.

The man has been illegally staying in Kyrgyzstan since 2018 and has been spreading religious extremist ideology.

As a result of a search at his place of residence, ammunition, an expired passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and means of communication were found.

The detainee was placed in a pre-trial detention center of the SCNS, investigative and operational measures are carried out.
