The President of Kyrgyzstan responded to the demands of the deputies of the Parliament to submit a report on the turnover of gold in Kyrgyzstan. In an interview with Kabar news agency, Sadyr Japarov allowed everyone to participate in the investigative check of Kumtor’s activities.
«Some deputies, politicians propose to conduct an inspection. I don’t mind. Let them appoint someone from the opposition or the most competent deputy as the head of the commission and check the data from last year for each gram of gold,» the head of state said.
Let Azimbek Beknazarov speak on behalf of the public, and the guys, who have no idea about gold. Reliable information about gold will do them good. Let them find out and tell the people how much gold was mined, where and at what price it was sold.

He stressed that there is nothing to hide and those who are interested can participate in the investigation.
The president also mentioned Tengiz Bolturuk, who was removed from post after financial irregularities were revealed. In particular, it was reported about the purchase of fuels and lubricants, food and spare parts at inflated prices.
«The investigation will determine whether Tengiz participated in this or not,» Sadyr Japarov said.
According to him, he warned Tengiz Bolturuk when the process of nationalization of the gold mining enterprise began that he should not listen to anyone and be responsible for every gram of gold.
«I did not allow anyone to his work and did not interfere myself, so that he would not later say that because of my participation he could not fulfill his duties. I gave him complete freedom. There were no complaints about gold during his work and there should not be, because gold cannot be stolen when everything is computerized. Starting from Kumtor to Kara-Balta, from Kyrgyzaltyn to the National Bank, video cameras and security guards work round the clock, checking, transferring responsibility to each other under an act,» the president said.
He recalled that he had previously answered the question about 19 tons of gold. «I repeat now: the archives forever store data not only on 19 tons, but even on 19 grams,» Sadyr Japarov assured.
