Road accident in Russia: Three survived Kyrgyzstanis in serious condition

The condition of three Kyrgyzstanis, who survived in a terrible road accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia, is assessed as serious. The Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia visited three victims.

«Their condition is assessed as stably serious with positive dynamics, they are fully provided with the necessary medicines,» the department noted.

On instructions from the President Sadyr Japarov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Emergency Situations are preparing a special aircraft to deliver the bodies of the dead to Kyrgyzstan.

As the forensic medical examinations are completed, the identification procedure is carried out and permission is obtained from the investigating authorities of Russia for transportation of the bodies of the dead, the special plane, in agreement with the Russian side, will take off for Ulyanovsk in the near future.

According to preliminary data, 14 Kyrgyzstanis died in a traffic accident in Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia. Two heavy trucks crashed into a minibus on M-5 Ural highway. As a result, 16 people were killed, most of them are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
