The number of recipients of microloans decreased by 9.5 percent in Kyrgyzstan. Such data are provided by the National Statistical Committee.
For six months, residents of the country received loans in the amount of 17.4 billion soms from microcredit organizations, the number of recipients reached about 298,000 people.
Compared to the same period in 2021, the number of people covered by microlending decreased by 9.5 percent, and the volume of provided microloans — by 1.7 percent.
The largest amounts of microcredits received the residents of Bishkek (18.5 percent of the total volume of microcredits), Osh (18 percent), Chui (16 percent) and Jalal-Abad (more than 14 percent) regions.
