A resident of Nookat district was detained for propaganda of extremism on social media. Press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Osh region reported.
On August 4, employees of the Service for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration revealed that the 22-year-old man distributed audios and videos about an extremist organization banned in Kyrgyzstan through his Facebook accounts and promoted it.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 332 «Production and distribution of extremist materials».
The suspect was placed in a detention center. The investigation continues.
