The first meeting of the organizing committee for holding the first People’s Kurultai was held under the chairmanship of State Secretary Suyunbek Kasmambetov. Press service of the President reported.
The meeting was attended by administration officials, Presidential Envoys to the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh cities, as well as public figures. Tasks for the near future on explanatory work and meetings with the population were determined, and instructions of a technical nature were given.
According to the State Secretary, the main task of the organizing committee is to ensure a transparent and open process for the nomination and election of delegates without any interference from government agencies.
According to the decision of Sadyr Japarov, the first People’s Kurultai will be held in Bishkek on November 25, 2022.
