The house of an activist Yrys Zhekshenaliev was searched. Video of the search was posted on Bashta Telegram channel.
The author of the video says that the search took place on Thursday at 6.20 p.m.
Yrys Zhekshenaliev, the administrator of Polit Uznik Facebook page, was taken to the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on August 14, and then detained.
Later, the ex-chairman of the State Committee for National Security was summoned for interrogation.
The head of state Sadyr Japarov commented on the situation around Zhetim-Too field. He urged activists and politicians who oppose the development of this field to stop deceiving people. Yrys Zhekshenaliev was placed in the remand center 1 in Bishkek for two months.
