Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan opens in Chicago

The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan began to work in Chicago. The Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

By the decree of the President Sadyr Japarov, the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic was established in Chicago to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Kyrgyz people, create favorable conditions, expand economic and cultural cooperation, as well as provide consular services to citizens of the republic in the United States.

The consular district of the Consulate General includes 31 states: Idaho, Iowa, Arizona, Arkansas, Wyoming, Washington, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, North Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, South Dakota, Utah.

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are in the United States can apply to the Consulate General for all types of consular services established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
