Kyrgyz-Russian Inter-MFA consultations take place in Bishkek

Kyrgyz-Russian Inter-MFA consultations were held on Friday in Bishkek at the level of the First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Nuran Niyazaliev and the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Rudenko. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

The participants discussed topical issues of multifaceted Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as exchanged views on issues of the regional and global agendas. They also touched upon the issues of upcoming bilateral and multilateral foreign policy events, compared notes on the planned mutual visits at the highest and high levels.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of interaction in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as implementation of the agreements reached at the level of the heads of state and government of the two countries.

Nuran Niyazaliev expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the decision to lift the ban on entry into the territory of the Russian Federation for about 47,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan who have committed minor administrative offenses.

«Highly appreciating the level of Kyrgyz-Russian relations, the parties noted the importance of further development of cooperation based on mutual trust and understanding both at the bilateral level and within the framework of international and regional organizations such as the UN, CIS, EAEU, CSTO, SCO, OSCE,» the statement says.
