People began to turn to doctors more often in Kyrgyzstan. The Acting Minister of Health Zharkynbek Kasymbekov told at a press conference.
According to him, the number of visits to doctors of Family Medicine Centers increased by 305,274 people, medical and obstetric centers — by 70,877.
At the same time, the hospitalization rate remained almost unchanged, amounting to 6.3 per 100 people (6 per 100,000 people in 2021). Hospital mortality in the republic decreased slightly compared to last year, reaching 0.7 percent (0.9 percent in 2021).
Zharkynbek Kasymbekov added that 17 Family Medicine Centers and 61 General Practice Centers with 680 groups of family doctors and 1,068 medical and obstetric centers provide primary health care to the population. At least 121 healthcare organizations provide inpatient care to the population.
