At least 2.1 million citizens of Uzbekistan have traveled abroad for tourism purposes for six months of 2022. The State Committee on Statistics reports.
According to it, as of July 1, Kyrgyzstan became the most visited country by Uzbeks for tourism purposes. The republic was visited by 1,030 million people.
Kazakhstan and Tajikistan take the second and third places in terms of receiving tourists from Uzbekistan — 336,000 and 284,000 people entered these states for six months of this year, respectively.
