The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has launched an electronic sick leave certificate system. Press center of the ministry reported.
According to it, the Electronic Sick Leave Certificate information system was launched in the pilot mode in the capital’s Family Medicine Centers No. 3, 5, 6 and 9.
«Sick leave certificates will be issued in an electronic format, protected by a QR code,» the ministry said.
The Ministry of Health noted that the information system is designed to automate the process of generating a certificate of temporary inability to work by healthcare organizations. It makes it possible to keep records of issued sick leave certificates in electronic form in a single database, as well as to conduct analytics to develop more effective management measures in the field of health protection. The electronic sick leave includes information about the person, the healthcare organization that issued the document, the reason and duration of inability to work.
