The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
According to the press service of the head of state, they exchanged views on further expansion of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation, cooperation within international organizations, as well as on the schedule of planned bilateral visits.
Particular attention was paid to issues related to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan (October 9, 2022).
Sadyr Japarov congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 65th anniversary and noted that the modern achievements of Turkmenistan are inextricably linked with his name.
He thanked Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his great contribution to strengthening brotherhood, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan, and expressed the intention to develop interstate relations in the spirit of mutual understanding and mutual support.
