The Guarantee Fund will help resolve issues with the down payment for participants of the state mortgage campaign. Altymysh Turatbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Guarantee Fund OJSC, said at a meeting of Eldik deputy group.
According to him, it is proposed to amend the Law on Guarantee Funds of the Kyrgyz Republic. This will enable those wishing to get a mortgage to take part in the state program.
«The changes are aimed at considering the possibility of providing guarantees to participants of the state housing programs in order to assist in solving the socially significant housing issue of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, since the guarantee mechanism eliminates the problem of providing a down payment, which makes it difficult for citizens to participate in the state housing program and subsequently receive concessional financing,» he said.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the State Mortgage Company, Tilek Jeembaev, 36,000 citizens are in line for mortgage housing credits. The loan is provided at 4-8 percent.
