The head of the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city of Osh was detained for giving a bribe. Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
«On May 31, the suspect was detained by the military prosecutor’s office of the Osh garrison while giving a bribe to an operations officer of the State Committee for National Security in the amount of 20,000 soms,» the statement says.
In such a way the suspect tried to achieve concealment of the materials of the previously launched pre-investigation check on the fact of abuse of power. The detainee was placed in the military custody of the Osh garrison. An investigation is underway.
