The Museum of Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan has been opened in Bishkek. The Ministry of Defense reported.
The facility has been prepared for opening for two years. The museum presents exhibits from the Great Patriotic War, archival photographs and historical documents, rare artifacts associated with the Frunze Aviation Club, the Frunze and Odessa Pilot Schools.
The grandson of the first pilot Abduvali Kurbanaliev, Rinat, assisted in the collection of museum exhibits, who collected a complete archive of documents about his grandfather’s military service, as well as relatives of the pioneer of Kyrgyz aviation, pilot-instructor Kasym Ormokoev.
