The National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan received 12 anesthetic-respiratory machines. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
The equipment was purchased as part of the Emergency Response to COVID-19 project with the financial support of the World Bank.
«Medical equipment is designed to provide general anesthesia, as well as ventilation and high-precision monitoring of the patient’s vital parameters. The equipment has already been installed and put into operation. Specialists have undergone appropriate training,» the Ministry of Health reported.
The ministry added that the goal of the project is to support Kyrgyzstan’s efforts in preparedness and response to the COVID-19 pandemic by ensuring appropriate preventive measures, purchase of medicines, supplies and medical equipment, as well as reducing risks for medical workers.
