Investment Council under the Cabinet of Ministers was established on the basis of the Council for Business Development and Investments under the Government. The relevant decision was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov.
According to the press service of the government, the decision was made to ensure favorable conditions for business development, improve the investment climate, mechanisms to protect and support the activities of business entities, as well as coordination of the activities of stakeholders in the development of public-private partnership.
The Investment Council is a permanent advisory and consultative body designed to ensure an effective dialogue between the state and the business community.
