Mudflows flooded residential houses and basements of buildings in Kadamdzhai district of Batken region. Cars and territory of the kindergarten were also damaged. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
A powerful mud stream with stones descended at about 1.30 p.m. As a result, the basement of the district Department of Internal Affairs on Orozbekov Street and the courtyards of the fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a kindergarten, a residential building on Zvezdnaya Street and a pedestrian underpass on Osh — Batken road were flooded.
Two Daewoo Matiz and Chevrolet Lacetti cars, parked along the Osh — Batken road, were also damaged by the mudflow.
Special equipment and rescuers are eliminating consequences of the mudflow.
