Batken customs officers prevented smuggling of cabbage for almost half a million soms. Press service of the Customs Service reports.
«A truck driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was stopped and checked at Razvilka mobile post near the village of Chon-Talaa in Batken district. During the inspection, goods were found in the cargo compartment of the vehicle — 8,500 kilograms of fresh cabbage. The cargo was transported without any shipping documents confirming the legality of import into the customs territory of the EAEU,» the message says.
According to the conclusion of Expert Evaluation LLC expert, the average market value of the detained goods reached 467,500 soms.
The violator was fined 7,500 soms. He was also forced to pay customs duties in the amount of 125,337 soms.
