Athlete from Uzbekistan Shokhrukh Davlatov took the 1st place at the Issyk-Kul marathon Run the Silk Road — Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The marathon was held in Cholpon-Ata. Four distances were provided for participants of the marathon: 42, 21, 10 and 3 kilometers.
Shokhrukh Davlatov, the athlete from the Republic of Uzbekistan, was the first to cover the distance of 42 kilometers among men for 2 hours 28 minutes 1 second.
Kyrgyzstani Ilya Tyapkin took the second place, Berdigul Aitbai uulu — the third.
Ekaterina Tunguskova took the first place among women in the overall standings, Galina Yakusheva took the second place, and Yulia Fernas took the third place.
The prize fund of the international marathon is 1,534 million soms. The winners at distances of 42 and 21 kilometers will receive them.
The International Marathon Run the Silk Road ended in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region. About 3,000 amateurs and professional athletes from 20 countries participated in it.
