The cost of hajj for citizens of Kyrgyzstan in 2022 will be about $4,500. Press service of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) informed 24.kg news agency.
The SDMK does not rule out that the cost of the pilgrimage may change. It will depend on the terms of the agreements concluded with transport companies and airlines, hotels, catering points and other organizations that will provide services to the Kyrgyzstanis as part of the organization of the hajj.
The muftiyat noted that those wishing to visit the holy places of Mecca and Medina must transfer the money from April 25 to April 30.
At least 2,766 places have been allocated for Kyrgyz pilgrims this year. The quota was set by the authorities of Saudi Arabia.
The SDMK asks citizens who are in the e-list of the muftiyat for performing the hajj to get vaccinated in advance.
According to the muftiyat, about 6,000 Kyrgyzstanis are in the electronic list for the hajj. Earlier, the muftiyat reported that a total of 9,586 people registered for hajj in 2020. Only 2,488 pilgrims of them wrote applications for refund.
