An attempt to smuggle precious metals was prevented at Osh airport. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
Four citizens of Uzbekistan were detained in the departure hall of the airport today, on April 19. They tried to smuggle handicrafts, presumably made of gold. The weight of the necklaces is 1,925 grams.
The Uzbeks crossed the state border through Dostuk checkpoint, after that they planned to leave for the capital on Osh — Bishkek flight, and then they were detained. All of them were placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security.
