30 pharmacies selling medicines without permission detected in Bishkek

At least 30 pharmacies that sell medicines without permission have been detected in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, from April 4 to May 10, licensing and control activities are held in the country in respect of pharmacies, pharmacy shops and kiosks for compliance with licensing requirements in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

«As a result, 30 pharmacies selling medicines without permits were detected in the capital. Measures are being taken within the framework of the current legislation in relation to the identified legal entities and individuals,» the Ministry of Health reported.

The ministry added that similar inspections are carried out in other regions of the country, after which additional information will be given.

Inspections are carried out by the Ministry of Health together with the Department of Medicines and Medical Products under the ministry.
