Ten open joint stock companies and four LLCs will be privatized. Mirlan Bakirov, Chairman of the State Property Management Fund of Kyrgyzstan, announced at a meeting of Eldik deputy group.
According to him, as part of the optimization, it is planned to merge 40 state-owned enterprises.
«Only 24 enterprises are under the Ministry of Agriculture. There is status, but very low financial responsibility. We’re going to merge them in three directions. Ten enterprises need government subsidies. This is wrong, state-owned companies should provide for themselves,» he said.
Four open joint stock companies are planned to be transferred to the National Energy Holding. Ten JSCs and eight LLCs will be liquidated.
