The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan conducted the second intervention in a row to buy dollars. Official website of the bank says.
A total of $6.8 million were purchased with settlements on the date of transaction and $7.7 million — with settlements different from the date of the transaction. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has purchased $19.9 million for the last two days. This is $450,000 more than the intervention on the sale of dollars in non-cash form, conducted by the National Bank on March 10.
At the same time, the market exchange rate of the dollar remains the same. Exchange offices of the capital and commercial banks buy the currency for 79.5-80 soms and sell for 80.5-82.5 soms. The official exchange rate is 82.462 soms.
