The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan issued more than 2,000 loans to farmers for 1.3 billion soms as part of Financing of Agriculture-10 project. Website of the ministry says.
Most loans were provided for livestock breeding — 1,881 loans for 971,549 million soms. At least 801 loans for 337 million soms were issued for crop production. Farmers received 25 loans for 41,660 million soms in agroprocessing category.
In total, 2,707 loans were issued for 1,350 billion soms.
Loans are issued through Aiyl Bank JSC and RSK Bank JSC. To implement the program, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 1.8 billion soms to Aiyl Bank OJSC this year. RSK Bank issued preferential loans within the framework of Financing of Agriculture-10 project in the amount of 766,744 soms.
