Citizen of Kazakhstan has been detained in Bishkek for illegal crossing of the border of Kyrgyzstan. The Interior Ministry’s press service reported.
The Service on Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration received information that a foreigner illegally crosses the state border on a regular basis.
As a result of special measures, the 53-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan was detained in Bishkek.
The detainee told that in 2019, due to large financial debts to Kazakh companies, in order to avoid payment, he illegally crossed the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the available records, there is no information on the entry of the man into the territory of Kyrgyzstan. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 378 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic «Illegal Crossing of the State Border of the Kyrgyz Republic».
Additional investigative and operational measures are underway.
