In the final the team of Kyrgyzstan defeated athletes from Kuwait with a score 14-0.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan will play in the Division III under the auspices of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).
The team of Iran took the second place, the team from Singapore — the 3rd.
According to the press service, the final match was attended by the President Sadyr Japarov and the first lady of the country Aigul Japarova.
After the awarding ceremony, the head of state personally congratulated the Kyrgyz hockey players on their convincing victory at the championship.
The President, on his own behalf, presented cash prizes to all team members, coaching staff and doctors of the national team.
Teams of Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Singapore, Malaysia and Iran took part in the championship.
