The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan detained Dyikanbai Daminov, the former head of Oshelectro. The supervisory authority informed 24.kg news agency.
It was established that from 2016 to 2021, the officials of Oshelectro illegally wrote off accounts receivable for electricity. As a result, the state suffered a loss of 134,404,000 soms.
The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case under Article 336 «Corruption» of the Criminal Code. Dyikanbai Daminov, the former head of Oshelectro, was detained and taken into custody. The investigation into the case continues.
In January 2021, the former Director of Oshelektro Dyikanbai Daminov has been already detained on suspicion of extorting a bribe of one million soms. Results of investigation are unknown.
