The President of France Emmanuel Macron, speaking of the conflict in Ukraine, said that «the war will last long» and urged to prepare for the long-term consequences for Europe. TASS reports.
The leader of France made the statements during a visit to an agricultural exhibition that opened at Porte de Versailles on Saturday in western Paris.
«This crisis will be long. This war will be long. All the crises associated with it will also continue. Therefore, we must prepare,» he said, promising representatives of the agricultural industry support from the state.
Today is the third day of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. It started on February 24, 2022. On February 25, fighting took place in the north, south and east of the country. Some cities are either blocked or captured. The number of casualties among the military and civilians continues to grow. Western states impose tough sanctions against the Russian Federation, but they refused to fight in Ukraine.
