Tax officer detained for extortion in Jalal-Abad region

Inspector of the Department of the State Tax Service for Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region was detained when taking a bribe. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

«The employee of the tax service extorted money from a resident of Jalal-Abad for a positive solution of the issue,» the state committee reported.

The detainee was placed in the temporary detention center of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad. The investigation is ongoing.
