A meeting of the heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in a narrow format began in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).
Kyrgyzstan chairs the EAEU this year. Participants of the meeting will consider macroeconomic situation in the countries of the EAEU, implementation of the agreement on the traceability mechanism for goods imported into the customs territory of the integration association, and the agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU to track shipments.
A roadmap for expanding industrial cooperation in the field of civil aircraft manufacturing in the Union countries for 2022–2023 will also be discussed; a report on the current state and prospects for the development of the EAEU integrated information system, as well as a report on the assessment of tools and the level of state support for industry in the EAEU will be heard.
In addition, the EAEU member states will consider a joint project on the implementation of accelerated container rail and multimodal transportation of agricultural products Eurasian Agroexpress and a number of other issues.
