One of the organizers of smuggling activities in Batken region, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, was detained. Press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article »Giving a bribe to an official”.
»The woman was detained while giving a bribe in the amount of 50,000 soms to an employee of the SCNS. The money was intended for patronage and monthly unhindered movement of smuggled goods through the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. Investigation is underway," the state committee said.
