13-year-old girl became pregnant after being raped by her stepfather in Talas. The Department of Internal Affairs of Talas region reported with reference to the mother of the victim.
A 40-year-old woman turned to the police on February 8. She said that her 13-year-old daughter from her first marriage was raped by her current husband. As a result, the girl became pregnant. She is 26weeks pregnant now.
The fact was registered under Article 154 «Rape».
The suspect, a 45-year-old resident of Kok-Sai village, was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. The investigation continues.
The 13-year-old pregnant girl was hospitalized in Talas Combined Hospital. «She has epilepsy, severe dementia. The girl is currently in the gynecological department, she has anemia,» the Ministry of Health reported.
