A 22-year-old Kyrgyzstani Syimyk Omurbek uulu, detained in Almaty region, will pay a fine. The head of the Ombudsman’s Office Askat Azarbekov told at a press conference.
According to him, the employees of the Office of the Ombudsman resolved the issue. The Kyrgyzstani will be fined and safely returned home soon.
«This is the most minimal punishment for crossing the state border. Moreover, the compatriot had a hunting rifle in his hands,» Askat Azarbekov said.
On January 10, Syimyk Omurbek uulu went in search of cattle to Karkyra area in Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region and accidentally crossed the border, ending up in the territory of the neighboring country, where he was detained.
