IPChain to introduce blockchain infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan

IPChain Association will assist the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the National Academy of Sciences in the development of blockchain infrastructure in the field of intellectual property. The agreements were signed on February 11. TASS reported citing the Association.

The documents are supposed to help increase the efficiency of intellectual rights management in the digital environment, standardize processes, introduce best practices, improve the legislative framework, expand the scope and accessibility of non-state online intellectual property services, simplify dispute resolution procedures and the entry of Kyrgyz right holders into global markets.

«Cooperation with IPChain will expand opportunities for Kyrgyz creative industries to commercialize their intellectual property. They are provided with electronic platforms and services that allow not only to store digital objects, fix intellectual rights, but also to conclude license deals online,» the company’s press service said.

The Russian Association IPChain was created in 2017. The founders of the Association are theFoundation for Development of the Center for Elaboration and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo Foundation), the Russian Organization for Intellectual Property (VOIS), the Higher School of Economics, the Russian Union of Right Holders (RUR), the Saint Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, the Russian Author’s Society (RAS), the Association of Right Holders for the Protection and Management of Rights in the Sphere of Visual Arts (UPRAVIS), Novy Vek Bank.
