A board meeting on the results of 2021 has been held at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the government’s press service, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Arzybek Kozhoshev praised the work of the Foreign Ministry, noting that, despite the post-pandemic time, the Foreign Ministry has done a lot of work.
«Next year, economic diplomacy and close cooperation with international organizations should become a priority of the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s work. It is necessary to make every effort to attract investment, taking into account the target parameters of the partner states. The Cabinet of Ministers has set ambitious tasks, which we must fulfill, the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is important in this work,» he said.
The official reminded that Akylbek Japarov, head of the Cabinet, announced that the Kyrgyz Republic is abandoning the syndrome of a «begging» and poor country.
«For the first time in the history of independence, we have purchased modern military equipment, provided our army with uniforms, purchased a vaccine against coronavirus infection. In the future, work in this direction will only be stepped up and expanded,» Arzybek Kozhoshev added.
He stressed that the Kyrgyz Republic should take its special place as a democratic and economically stable republic on the international arena.
