President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree, according to which Zhusupbek Sharipov was relieved of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania concurrently. Press service of the President reported.
Zhusupbek Sharipov is the elder brother of the ex-head of state Sooronbai Jeenbekov. The latter appointed the relative as ambassador to Ukraine in 2017.
Earlier, the profile committee of the Parliament considered the issue of a new candidate for this post. The ex-head of the State Committee for National Security, Idris Kadyrkulov, has no right to hold the post of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine — this is what the deputies decided and refused to appoint him.
