Prices for liquefied gas (LPG) are expected to decrease by 2-3 soms per liter in Kyrgyzstan in the near future. The State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation reports.
The domestic market of liquefied gas in Kyrgyzstan is provided only through imports from Russia and Kazakhstan, insignificant volumes come from Armenia, Uzbekistan, USA, France. The change in the cost of LPG in the republic is associated with a change in wholesale prices in these countries.
«According to price monitoring carried out by the state agency, the prices for LPG in Bishkek are 36-37 soms per liter. In 2020, the volume of imports amounted to 45,000 tons, in 2021 — over 70,000 tons,» the statement says.
