Testing of navigation seals in road transport of goods started in Kyrgyzstan. The State Tax Service reported.
The pilot project will last until January 15, 2022. Tax officials note that the navigation seal is used to track the transportation of goods by trucks when importing from the Eurasian Economic Union member states on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. It also confirms the legality of the turnover of goods, provides control over the delivery of goods to their destination points and prepares participants of the foreign economic activities for the introduction of navigation seals in the EAEU.
«During this period, when goods are imported from EAEU member states, a navigation seal will be put on the locking devices of doors and closing systems of cargo compartments of the vehicle (shipping container). Six companies, which import alcohol and tobacco products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan — FORESTER LLC, Sibir Trade, Global Rivers, Krona Trade, Tobacco Market, Ross Tabak — are participating in the pilot project. For the participants of the pilot project navigation seals are installed on cargo spaces of vehicles on a voluntary and free of charge basis,» the State Tax Service reported.
