Average salary of migrants in Russia is 47,100 rubles a month. The President of the Federation of Migrants of Russia Vadim Kozhenov announced at a briefing.
According to him, specialists conducted a study and polled natives of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan — a total of 4,739 migrants during 2021. It turned out that the migrants would like to earn an average of 77,200 rubles.
It is also noted that those who don’t speak Russian very well earn 37,000 rubles, and those who speak it well earn 49,000.
At least 54.4 percent of migrants go to Russia because of low salaries in home country, 30.5 percent noted the lack of work in their country, 18 percent complain about the low standard of living in general.
Vadim Kozhenov stressed that 27.5 percent of the respondents work from eight to ten hours a day, less than 22 percent — eight hours or less.
