The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) accredited 736 international observers. CEC reported.
According to it, the missions of the CIS and the OSCE / ODIHR have already launched work in Kyrgyzstan to monitor the election process. At the same time, monitoring is carried out by long-term observers not only in the capital, but also in the regions of the country.
In addition to international organizations, representatives of electoral bodies of foreign states will monitor the elections. The CEC of Kyrgyzstan accredited CEC members from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign states are also accredited as international observers.
The term of office of an international observer begins on the day of his or her accreditation and ends on the day of the official publication of the election results. International observers have the right to move freely and be present at any polling station and election commissions.
Elections are scheduled for November 28 in Kyrgyzstan. At least 54 deputies of the Parliament are elected according to a proportional system (from open lists of candidates of political parties) in single electoral districts, 36 deputies are elected according to the majoritarian system in single-mandate constituencies.
