«Many issues have been resolved and discussed on the spot, including problematic ones, today during a meeting with the Turkish side in a narrow format,» the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov said at the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission.
According to him, Turkey was the first country to recognize the independence of Kyrgyzstan. The republic has always been there, providing support in both economic and investment activities. Representatives of Turkey came to the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission not empty-handed, but brought 159,000 doses of vaccine against coronavirus.
«Many initiatives have been proposed by our side. Taking into account the achievements of Turkey in the field of healthcare, we raised issues of resumption of the practice of treatment of 150 patients in Turkish hospitals. Turkey also did not reject an offer to train 20 residents and 15 students.
«Following result of the meeting, we can say that bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are developing successfully,» Ulukbek Maripov concluded.
