Migrants living and working in Russia asked the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev to increase the number of charter flights and the number of employees at consular offices. The Information Department of the ministry reported.
On September 8, Ruslan Kazakbaev held an online meeting with representatives of Kyrgyz public associations, business associations, diaspora organizations, as well as with compatriots living in Russia, in particular in Moscow and the Moscow Oblast.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of the relevant structural divisions of the central office of the ministry and employees of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Russian Federation.
They discussed topical issues and problems concerning Kyrgyzstanis living and working in Moscow and the Moscow Obast, as well as in other regions of Russia — Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk, Irkutsk, Surgut, Krasnoyarsk, Samara, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and other cities.
Ruslan Kazakbaev called on compatriots to take an active part in the upcoming elections of deputies of the Parliament, which will be held on November 28.
Participants of the meeting raised the issues of delivery of bodies of deceased Kyrgyzstanis, the need to increase the number of employees at consular offices, expand the geography and frequency of charter flights, introduce Meken Card and etc. The participants also discussed the so-called «blacklist» of Russian Interior Ministry units on migration issues, according to which a ban on entry into the country for various violations is imposed. The minister said that negotiations on withdrawal from the blacklist and replacing this measure with a fine or other less strict administrative measures would continue.
