The Ambassador of the Russian Federation Sergei Vakunov has been invited to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kyrgyzstan. The Foreign Ministry reported.
In connection with the mass detentions of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic that took place on April 11, 2025 in «Bodrost» bath complex in Moscow, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Imangaziev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Sergei Vakunov on April 14.
The Russian side was handed an official note with a request to provide information on the grounds for the operation carried out by law enforcement agencies, as well as the use of force against citizens and, if the use of force is unjustified, to take appropriate measures against representatives of Moscow law enforcement agencies regarding this incident.
A request was made to take effective measures to protect the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and to prevent similar situations in the future that could damage the Kyrgyz-Russian relations of alliance and strategic partnership.
Recall, a mass detention of natives and citizens of Kyrgyzstan with the use of violence took place in the Moscow bathhouse «Bodrost» on April 10.
