Medical experts from China have completed their mission. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The day before, a meeting of representatives of the Government of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Health with the medical expert group of the People’s Republic of China was held at the Center for Development of the Healthcare and Medical Technologies under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova, the Minister of Health Sabirzhan Abdikarimov, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the President Almaz Kenenbaev, the Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen and others took part in the meeting.
The expert group got acquainted with the work of the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, the Republican Center for Quarantine and Highly Infectious Diseases. The Chinese experts shared their experience in laboratory diagnostics, an algorithm for identifying and isolating close contacts, and methods of epidemiological research in China.
Online seminars were held for medical specialists at the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training. More than 700 healthcare workers participated in them.
