A number of Kyrgyz websites, including Kaktus.media, Economist.kg and Pk.kg, were attacked by hackers the day before. These media outlets have managed to publish a Factcheck.kg material. Website of the Media Development Center turned out to be blocked.
The Factcheck.kg website was hacked first. Administrator of the website Bolot Temirov told 24.kg news agency.
This happened a short time after the article about the cost of jewelry, wardrobe items and accessories of the wife of the ex-deputy head of the Customs Service Raiymbek Matraimov was published.
According to Bolot Temirov, the attack on Factcheck.kg was conducted from IP addresses in Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Factcheck.kg checks facts on resonant topics and persons. The resource takes all data from open sources.
Problems with accessing this resource continued on those websites that have managed to publish the article about expenses of Raiym Matraimov’s spouse Uulkan (Amanda) Turgunova. These expenses do not correspond to the official income indicated by her husband in his income declarations.
