Kyrgyzstanis win 8 medals at Asian Judo Championship

Kyrgyzstanis won eight medals at the Asian Judo Championship. Ippon.org reports.

The tournament was held on April 20-21 in Almaty. At least 410 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in it.

Kyrgyzstani Shakhida Narmukhamedova (over 70 kg) won three bouts and became a champion among the cadets. Khanbolot Yrysbekov (up to 55 kg) won silver medal, and Azhar Isayeva (up to 63 kg) and Anarbek Ishenbaev (up to 90 kg) won bronze medals.

Adil Myrzaev (up to 81 kg) took the first place among the juniors, Aibek uulu Kubanychbek (up to 60 kg) and Diana Khan (up to 52 kg) — the second, Dastan Sarbatov (over 100 kg) — the third.

The team of the Kyrgyz Republic took the third place in team scoring.
