Some schools in Kyrgyzstan are 300 percent overcrowded. Deputy of the Parliament Parkhat Tulendybaev informed today at a meeting.
According to him, an educational crisis has developed in the regions. It affected children from low-income families. There are not enough textbooks, computers, learning guides, as well as the schools themselves.
«There are 2,200 students at the school in Ala-Archa village of Alamedin district, in Mayevka — 1,500 with a design capacity of 700 students. Schools are 300 percent overcrowded. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at a meeting with the Minister of Education that there should be no problems with the construction of schools. Money were budgeted. However, the issue is not being resolved,» Parkhat Tulendybaev said.
